Saving outside the permitted recording period is not possible. #
This error message means that an attempt is being made to enter a data record in a closed entry period. The recording period is visible above the employee, in the time recording overview table and in the “Time recording” – active recording period tab.



You can make adjustments to the time period in the employee administration –> “Time recording” tab for the employee.

If the time period is correct, it is also important to ensure that no releases have yet been set; if necessary, these must be removed again. You can find out how to remove approvals here: Release of employee reports | ems – Help Center



Allocation to orders or cost centers is only possible with active allocation data. #
The message appears if an entry is made with reference to a recipient and no billing data is stored. It is important that active data is available at the time of entry.
Allocation data is payroll information about the employee, such as the service type and the internal cost rate. You can find this information in the employee data –> “Company data” tab.
